Item 8.01                                             Other Events.

 

On July 29, 2010, Inland Real Estate Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has extended the expiration date for its tender/exchange offer and consent solicitation relating to its outstanding 4.625% Convertible Senior Notes due 2026.  The expiration date was extended to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Thursday, August 5, 2010, unless earlier terminated or further extended by the Company. A copy of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated in its entirety into this disclosure by reference.
