On May 6, 2010, Gastar Exploration Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2010  A copy of the Company’s press release, dated May 6, 2010, is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
