Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On January 30, 2017, BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“BioCryst”) announced that the European Medicines Agency (“EMA”) has accepted the filing of its peramivir Marketing Authorization Application (“MAA”) for treatment of symptoms typical of influenza in adults 18 years and older. Peramivir will be commercialized by Seqirus UK Limited as ALPIVAB^TM.  The acceptance of the MAA begins the review process by the EMA under the centralized licensing procedure for all 28 member states of the European Union, Norway and Iceland.

On January 30, 2017, the Company issued a news release announcing the events described in this Item 7.01.  A copy of the news release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
