Item 9. Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On July 14, 2004, Casey’s General Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: CASY) reported June 2004 same-store sales results. Average gasoline gallons sold per store decreased 2.1% in June 2004 compared to June 2003. Same-store sales of grocery and other merchandise increased 1.6% and prepared foods and fountain same-store sales increased 6.6% in June 2004 compared to June 2003.
