On January 3, 2007, eSpeed, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Mr. Kevin Foley, President of the Company, was resigning effective January 1, 2007 in order to become President and CEO of Aqua, a new equities venture being launched by eSpeed, Inc. and Cantor Fitzgerald.

In addition, effective January 1, 2007, the Company’s Board of Directors appointed Howard W. Lutnick, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, to serve as President.
