Gold Fields Beatrix and Driefontein mines
achieve a million fatality-free shifts
Johannesburg, Monday, March 3, 2008: Gold Fields Limited (“Gold

operations – Driefontein Gold Mine on the West Rand and Beatrix Gold
Mine in the Free State – have both achieved one million fatality-free
shifts.
