CPFL Energia S.A. informs its shareholders and the market in general that the following resolutions were taken at the 138th Board of Directors Meeting held on May 27, 2009:
I. Approval and Vote Recommendation: Constitution of guarantee by CPFL Energia for the issue of debentures by the controlled companies CPFL Paulista, CPFL Geração, RGE, CPFL Leste Paulista, CPFL Jaguari, CPFL Sul Paulista and CPFL Brasil;
II. Other matters not related to CVM Instruction 358/2002, as amended.
