CPFL Energia S.A. (Company) (BM&FBOVESPA: CPFE3, NYSE: CPL) announces to its shareholders and the market that pursuant to the meeting of the Board of Directors held on August 26 2009, the services of bank depositary for its American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will now be provided by Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas (Deutsche Bank).
The current depositary provider, The Bank of New York Mellon, will provide this service to holders of ADRs until October 27 2009. As from October 28 2009, investors requiring information with respect to ADRs may do so by calling the new depositary bank (Deutsche Bank) on the following numbers: 44-207-547-6500 (London), 1-212-250-9100 (New York), or (11) 2113-5294 (São Paulo).
