On November 10, 2008, Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd (the "Company") announced that Michael I.D. Morrison will retire from the Company’s board of directors (the "Board") effective as of December 31, 2008. Mr. Morrison will retire from the boards of directors of the Company’s subsidiaries on which he currently serves effective as of such date. A copy of the press release announcing Mr. Morrison’s retirement from the Board is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
