cellcom israel announces 4G network
Netanya, Israel – April 16, 2014 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company"), announced today that it selected Nokia Solutions and Networks, a worldwide leading network manufacturer, for the supply of its 4G network. The Company intends to commence a rapid deployment of the network, which also supports LTE Advanced technology (4.5 generation), immediately and expects to achieve a wide and high quality deployment of the network by the end of the year. The operation of the network as well as its LTE Advanced qualities is subject to the regulator's approvals and availability of spectrum.
