DESCRIPTION:
As children across the United States head back to learning, CNH Industrial hosted a virtual back-to-school supply drive to help students in its communities. The drive was in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of America across the region, which partner with schools to provide children with the help and mentoring needed to keep on track academically.
CNH Industrial employees had the opportunity to make a difference by purchasing and donating much needed school supplies. The items purchased were then distributed to Boys & Girls Clubs closest to their location.
“The past year has been very challenging for many families and often children do not have access to adequate learning tools and supplies,” says Michelle Javaherian, CNH Industrial Community Relations Manager. “We are extremely proud that so many of our employees participated in this year’s virtual back-to-school supply drive and showed support for their local schools.”
Over 2,135 items were raised across the company’s US locations and in addition to sponsoring the online event, CNH Industrial matched all “goods” donations one to one to supply a total of 4,270 items of essential supplies to Boys & Girls Club locations across the US so that even more kids have the tools they need for learning this school year.
The commitment to education and strengthening communities is a core value and mission for CNH Industrial, and plays an integral role in the company’s approach to social, environmental, and financial sustainability in its global operations.
