Hassan Imtiazi Of AIDA Digital Ltd Releases New Publication On Digital Transformation In Business

Digital Marketing veteran, Hassan Imtiazi, highlights the importance of digital solutions to businesses in a new publication titled “Digital Transformation: Force For Positive Business Change”

The Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly left an indelible effect on individuals and businesses of all sizes across the globe. In a related development, corporate and small businesses have adjusted their operations accordingly, with remote working, travel restrictions and physical distancing creating unforeseen challenges for employers. Hassan Imtiazi, a digital marketing expert and director at AIDA Digital Ltd has published an article titled Digital Transformation: Force For Positive Business Change, where he highlighted how businesses can take advantage of digital business solutions.

Covid-19 has forced businesses to take a paradigm shift. Many industries like travel, hospitality, entertainment and outdoor re-creation like Disney had to lay off thousands of employees. The need to find out new ways of doing business in order to make it profitable in post-COVID-19 world,” said Hassan Imtiazi, Digital Marketing Consultant.

According to CIRP's estimates, Amazon Prime membership grew to 153 million members in the U.S. as of June 2021, up 25.4% from 122 million in June 2020. While it seems early to predict the long-term outcomes and trends prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, such figures give an insight into future trends. A report by McKinsey also revealed that employees with stable, secure work experience working remotely report an increase in positive work effectiveness and well-being.

Vendors and partners might also be considering scaling down activities and operations, focusing on the short term, delaying unnecessary investments, and attempting to cut costs. At the same time, they could shift to digital channels, reducing the need to visit customers on-site.

One thing which came out definitely from COVID-19 is people making new and renewed commitments to their values and goals for example, balancing time spent at work and with family. At the same time, people are weighing the risks and values in everyday decisions about where they go, who they spend time with, what they do, and what they buy.”

The changes in the external environment resulting from the pandemic will affect customers, employees, vendors and partners. Customers are already shifting their purchasing preferences to avoid physical channels, adopting more digital services, and demanding more from delivery services. There has been a steady growth in the number of home delivery food services in the UK, with big superstores going for reserve and pick or buy and deliver online options.

In the article, Hassan Imtiazi looked at the different aspects of business operations and how businesses and their customers are adjusting to the changes. The publication touched on the subject of product and how businesses need to keep it simple to drive digital sales as well as service and support and move to a remote digital service, and workplace environment, including shifting to digital remote office operations. Hassan Imtiazi also looked at how digital transformation affects how businesses relate with their vendors and partnerships and the shift to collaborative lean partnerships.
