Doremus & Co. Names Paul Hirsch as President and Elevates Executive Team

Doremus Combines Veteran Agency Leadership With Creative Risk-Taking to Shake Up the B2B Landscape

Doremus & Co., a leading business-to-business specialist agency, has named Paul Hirsch President. Hirsch, who retains the title of Chief Creative Officer of the agency, is a 20-year veteran of the advertising industry and an award-winning creative executive. He takes over the leadership role from Joe Rivas.

The announcement comes on the heels of rapid growth and momentum over the past two years. Since Hirsch joined the company, Doremus has added a number of new clients to its roster, including FM Global, NI, Raytheon Technologies, Office Depot, and Vonage. Under his leadership the agency also has seen a creative resurgence that has resulted in multiple awards for the agency. Most recently, Doremus was recognized as a Creative Agency of the Year at the Global Ace Awards and its work for client LEGO Education was named Best in Show at the Association of National Advertisers’ B2 Awards recognizing top-performing business-to-business marketing.

Throughout his career, Hirsch has led the development of work that has been recognized by The One Show, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The Clios, and D&AD. In addition to winning an Emmy and having work in the permanent collection of MoMA, he has coauthored an Amazon-charting book about the modern workplace.

Along with Hirsch’s promotion, three other executives instrumental to the agency’s growth have been elevated at Doremus & Co.: Chief Innovation Officer Matthew Don has been named to the new role of Chief Operating Officer; Kelly Higgins, having served as Director, Strategic Partnerships, North America, has been named Chief Marketing Officer; and Joanna Berke, previously Head of Account Management, has assumed the role of Chief Client Officer.
