SeatGeek Renews Partnership With New Orleans Saints

After five successful seasons, the Saints go marching into more years with SeatGeek as the team's official ticketing partner

SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform that is transforming the live event experience for fans, teams and venues, announced a renewal of its partnership with the National Football League’s (NFL) New Orleans Saints today. Saints fans will continue to use SeatGeek's app to buy and manage their tickets and scan directly into the stadium, while the organization’s back office will benefit from SeatGeek’s new backend client-facing technology, Unify.

In 2017, the Saints were on a mission to buck the status quo by providing fans with a better ticketing experience and signed on with SeatGeek as the company’s first NFL primary ticketing partner. The organization is one of many clients to have recently extended its partnership with SeatGeek. In the last 18 months, the company has secured a 97% renewal rate of its global client base – a testament to SeatGeek's ability to create better economics while devoting teams and resources to attentive and collaborative client services through its vertically integrated platform.

“Five years ago, we realized we needed a primary ticketing partner who could grow with us and our Saints community, and signed on as the first NFL team to partner with SeatGeek,” said Michael Stanfield, New Orleans Saints' Senior Vice President of Sales. “We knew from the beginning that their innovative approach to ticketing would provide our passionate fan base with the best-in-class experience they expect and our staff with the most advanced backend technology needed to elevate our ticketing operations. Over the years, the team at SeatGeek has shown us that they’re committed to enriching every aspect of the fan journey, and we look forward to a successful future ahead.”

From ticket purchase to the final whistle blow, Saints fans will continue to score big by taking advantage of SeatGeek’s best-in-class mobile app and its industry-first features. In-app products like Rally, the event-day technology that gives fans a personalized experience directly in their digital tickets, have allowed the Saints to remain a perennial force for ticketing customer satisfaction in the NFL.

As part of the extended partnership, the Saints will also take advantage of Unify, SeatGeek’s backend client-facing technology that allows teams, theaters and arenas to create, sell and manage access to their live entertainment ecosystem. When first developing Unify, the Saints held a pivotal role in helping to test, refine and improve the platform. As a long-standing SeatGeek partner, they’ll now have access to centralized and comprehensive reports that use data from all open-distribution sales channels and query builders to power marketing and revenue optimization – critical to creating a seamless ticketing experience.

“The Saints have been a tremendous partner of ours throughout the years as we’ve both been keenly focused on creating the ultimate game day experience for fans,” said Danielle du Toit, President of SeatGeek’s enterprise business. “An ideal SeatGeek partner matches our ambition to elevate the customer journey through a forward-thinking mentality and our drive to deliver excellence across the ticketing experience through innovative box office technology. And that’s the Saints.”

According to customer surveys, "mobile ticketing" has consistently ranked at the top of the NFL among New Orleans Saints fans. The team also ranked third among all NFL teams in mobile ticketing satisfaction and kicked off the 2022 season with an overall Net Promoter Score of 84 - one of the highest scores in the league. In addition to the Saints, SeatGeek has also partnered with the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders. The company is also one of two Officially Licensed Ticketing Platforms that work with the NFL.

SeatGeek has experienced tremendous growth in 2022, having announced nine new partnerships in the last six months, including New Mexico United, NHL’s Florida Panthers, Fiesta Bowl, and two Football Clubs in the UK with Leeds United and Watford F.C. The company also announced a renewal with Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. The new partnerships bolster SeatGeek’s already impressive roster of clients across the NBA, NHL, MLS, English Premier League, tennis, motorsports and more.
