Flock Freight Named to CNBC Disruptor 50 List for Third Consecutive Year

Flock Freight, the only technology company creating a smarter, more sustainable supply chain by pooling freight at scale, today announced it was named to the 2023 CNBC Disruptor 50 list. The annual list highlights the 50 most innovative private companies using breakthrough technology to meet increasing economic and consumer challenges, while inspiring change in their larger, incumbent competitors.

Traditional LTL and truckload providers have attempted to coordinate shared truckloads in the past, but Flock’s patented technology goes beyond disrupting the industry. As a certified B-Corporation, Flock Freight is on a mission to reinvent the freight industry by relentlessly eliminating waste and inefficiency. Every time freight is pooled and trucks are filled with its shared truckload technology, Flock proves that reducing emissions isn’t a zero-sum game. It’s a win-win-win outcome for businesses, truck drivers, and the environment. With shared truckloads, pooled freight is carried in a single truck, driven by a single driver, all the way to its destination which reduces emissions by up to 40 percent compared to traditional shipping methods.

“By pooling freight at scale, Flock is disrupting century-old physical hub-and-spoke constraints on the U.S. supply chain,” said Oren Zaslansky, Founder and CEO at Flock Freight. “We’re honored to be named to the CNBC Disruptor 50 list for the third consecutive year, and this recognition further validates our progress toward creating a smarter, more efficient and sustainable supply chain.”

To determine nominees for the CNBC Disruptor 50, companies completed a comprehensive and rigorous process of researching and scoring across a wide range of quantitative and qualitative criteria, including scalability, revenue and user growth, and workforce diversity. An advisory board made up of leading thinkers in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship provided weighting for the quantitative criteria, while a team of CNBC editorial staff read submissions and provided qualitative assessments of every single nominee.
