Leaders from UiPath, Bayer, PartnerRE, NYU, Repligen, NJM Insurance, Klipfolio, Srinsoft & more will discuss new ways to approach their functions & prepare for AI with modern connectivity as a foundation
CData Software (“CData”), the leading provider of data connectivity solutions, announced its first annual company conference, Foundations, which will take place virtually November 20-21, 2024. Foundations will explore how companies can build a modern data connectivity strategy that not only drives significant improvements in business efficiency but also establishes a robust foundation for successful AI initiatives. All of the conference content is driven by feedback from CData’s community and primarily led by customers and partners. CData also plans to make multiple product announcements during the event.
“We’re seeing too many businesses rushing into AI initiatives without first ensuring their data is able to maximize the value AI can provide,” said Will Davis, Chief Marketing Officer at CData. “The goal of this event is to bring our customers and partners together with a focus on helping data engineers, data architects, product teams, and business intelligence leaders discover how they can establish a data connectivity strategy that works best for their function and company. The event will then show them how to use that strategy to most effectively implement new data and AI initiatives to drive their business forward.”
With just 41% of director to C-suite level leaders saying their organization’s data management is ready to broadly adopt and scale GenAI initiatives, it’s clear companies need more guidance on how to ensure AI is set up for success. Foundations will focus on the many benefits of a proper data connectivity strategy, particularly how data management is a critical forerunner for GenAI success. The two-day conference will feature sessions from CData and real-world insights from its customers and partners. The first day of the event will conclude with a keynote from Forrester analyst Mike Gualtieri on how to prepare real-time data for AI and how to best leverage the real-time insights gleaned from AI.
CData will be joined by its partners Unity Health Toronto, Unanet, Repligen, Scorpion, Klipfolio, and more for the event. These partners will all lead engaging sessions to discuss how they navigated data management issues and worked with CData to find strategic solutions that help them improve operational efficiency and implement AI initiatives. Some sample sessions include “Pioneering AI in Healthcare: Reducing Mortality and Improving Outcomes at Unity Health Toronto,” “Bridging the Spreadsheet Gap for Seamless Financial Reporting and Planning in Excel with Scorpion,” and “Case Study: How Biotech Manufacturer’s Data Team Automated 80% of their ETL Pipelines.”
This virtual event continues a transformative year for CData, which has already seen the company secure approximately $350 million in growth capital from Warburg Pincus, with participation from Accel and existing investor Updata. This funding has allowed CData to accelerate its investments in building innovative data integration solutions for customers.
