The Watt Brothers Prove Anything Can Taco with Old El Paso™ After Going Head-To-Head in Game-Day Taco Competition

Old El Paso and the Watt brothers turn fan-favorite football foods into tacos, in the new “Watt Can Taco” content series

Old El Paso is reuniting with football’s favorite trio of brothers — J.J., T.J. and Derek Watt — to bring more mealtime inspiration this football season. This year, the brothers are taking their taco love to a game-changing new level to prove any of your favorite football foods can be a taco. Derek and T.J. tap into their competitive side in a head-to-head online competition judged by J.J., called “Watt Can Taco,” where they transform popular recipes into tacos. With help from Old El Paso’s versatile roster of seasonings, sauces, soups, taco shells and taco kits, the Watt brothers prove that if you aren’t having Old El Paso on game-day, you’re doing it wrong.

“My brothers and I were excited to team up with Old El Paso again and engage in some friendly, brotherly competition,” said J.J. Watt. “As the judge, I can confidently say, yes, anything can taco, but it was especially fun to see Derek and T.J. duke it out with their own creations. Selfishly I was happy to taste all the taco creations and get some inspiration for my own game-day spread this season using all my favorites from Old El Paso!”

Football fans and taco lovers can watch J.J. judge Derek and T.J. as they whip up delicious tacos inspired by popular game-day foods in a new Old El Paso content series airing on digital video, TikTok, Instagram and www.oldelpaso.com/watt-can-taco.

“Planning your football season menu can feel mundane when you’re using the same recipes year over year and week over week. That’s why we’re excited to celebrate the return of football season with the Watt Brothers and help provide fans with some fresh inspiration featuring what we do best – tacos,” says Jenny Jonker, Old El Paso Brand Experience Manager. “We’ve drafted the brothers to help us tackle football season and inspire sports fans to include Old El Paso in their game-day meal rotations, as the best, most versatile and crowd-pleasing option.”

All season long, fans can elevate their spreads by trying one of the Watt Brothers’ unique creations and picking up Old El Paso’s products to upgrade mealtime, or by visiting Old El Paso’s website for more popular taco recipes and inspiration.
