Syncro Promotes Andy Cormier to MSP Channel Chief

Seasoned MSP Expert to Lead Strategic Initiatives in Marketplaces, Partnerships, and Alliances

Syncro, a leading platform provider for managed service providers (MSP) and IT professionals, today announced the promotion of Andy Cormier, an MSP industry veteran, to channel chief.

Cormier has been a key advocate for Syncro’s customers and a well-recognized voice in the MSP market. In his elevated role, he will further champion Syncro’s partners, serving as the “voice of the customer” to ensure the company meets and exceeds the needs of its customers. Cormier will also lead Syncro’s strategic initiatives across marketplaces, partnerships, and alliances, focusing on expanding the company’s MSP ecosystem to drive more value for its MSP partners.

“Andy’s promotion reflects our unwavering commitment to our channel partners,” said Michael George, CEO of Syncro. “As a trusted customer advocate, Andy consistently listens to our customers and champions their needs. This new role is a natural progression of his dedication to supporting MSPs, from founding, growing, and successfully exiting his own MSP to consulting for hundreds of others and helping shape leading MSP platforms. He is the ideal executive to lead and grow our channel initiatives.”

Cormier joined Syncro several years ago and has since been an instrumental voice for customers within the company. As channel chief, he will continue to advance Syncro’s vision, with a commitment to helping MSPs maximize profitability through comprehensive, automated, and AI-driven solutions. Notably, Cormier is the author of So You Want To Be An MSP, where he offers actionable insights for MSPs to thrive in a sales-driven rather than a purely technical model.

“As Syncro's base continues to grow rapidly, I’m committed to ensuring our channel program evolves to meet the diverse and changing needs of MSPs and internal IT departments,” said Cormier.

In his new role, Cormier will focus on expanding the quality and quantity of future integration partnerships. He plans to lead initiatives that enhance existing partnerships through deeper integrations and optimized workflows, while also establishing new partnerships that drive additional value for MSP partners. These efforts will expand Syncro's capabilities, empowering customers to accomplish more without ever leaving the platform.

“I am passionate about the MSP space and dedicated to seeing our MSP partners succeed, thrive and grow,” said Cormier. “As a former MSP myself, that shared experience is what makes Syncro truly special. We don’t just support MSPs—we are MSPs. We celebrate our partners' wins because they are our wins too.”
