With families expecting to spend over $800 on average on clothes, shoes, school supplies and electronics1, Walmart’s selection of products under $10 can help parents, teachers and students buy everything they need and everything they want for the upcoming school year.

  • Supply list necessities Parents can feel good about purchasing supplies to last all year long from trusted brands such as Pen+Gear, Crayola, Five Star, Paper Mate and Sharpie. Students can also select their favorite pencil pouches, backpacks and notebooks from top franchises including Disney, Nintendo and Marvel.

To ensure the classroom assortment meets the needs of teachers, Walmart brought in the people whose opinion matters most: real educators. Considering their feedback, Walmart’s classroom and bulk supplies reflects what is most needed for a successful school year.

The Classroom Registry experience on Walmart.com and the Walmart app was designed to assist educators in reducing their expenses for classroom supplies. This innovative tool makes it simple and easy for educators to plan, shop and share their classroom wish lists. Registries can easily be found by searching Walmart’s registry page by the teacher’s last name and state.

Lunch-friendly finds at incredible prices

As customers prepare for first-day lunches, dorm room bites and everything in between, Walmart is making it easy for families and students to shop healthy and crave-worthy meal essentials for the new school year.

New this year, customers can shop Walmart’s one-click food basket, which provides two weeks of lunches for just about $2 per day. The basket features 16 kid-approved items, including PB&J essentials, juice, fruit and snacks, for easy and affordable school lunches. The basket is currently available for easy pickup and delivery services on Walmart.com and the Walmart app through Sept. 15.

As college students navigate the next exciting chapter of their life, Walmart is working hard to make the little things easy so the big life moments can be the star. From dorm essentials inspired by the Cottage Core and Eclectic Icon trends to high-tech finds for every assignment and project, customers can discover everything they need to check off their list.

  • One-stop college destination – Walmart is the one-stop destination for back-to-college with incredible prices on everything (without the need for any extra coupons) from stylish bedding and on-trend décor like the Mainstay’s Cloud Ottoman and Cowgirl-inspired lit sign to must-haves for the classroom like the Apple MacBook Air with M1 chip for only $649.
  • College & grad student savings – Walmart+ is offering all the benefits of a traditional Walmart+ membership, but at half the price to college and grad students. This includes plenty of student-friendly perks, like free shipping with no order minimum, free grocery delivery and even a Paramount+ membership. Students who are 18 years of age or older and enrolled in an undergrad or advanced degree program will pay just $49 per year or $6.47/month. This offer is live now through Sept. 13.
  • College-hour delivery – From late-night study sessions to early-morning exams, Walmart offers expanded delivery hours that seamlessly meet customers’ needs – with On-Demand delivery starting at 6 a.m. along with Late-Night Express Delivery. College students can find everything they need, from the on-trend fashion to better-for-you snacks, on the Walmart app, available for convenient delivery that fits their unique schedules.

  • Immunization appointments – Available via walk-up and pre-scheduled appointments on Walmart.com and the Walmart app, our nearly 4,600 pharmacies nationwide provide convenient options for customers to get their back-to-school vaccines for the flu, COVID-19, HPV and more, any day of the week.
  • On-trend eyewear – From affordable eyewear with frames starting at $9 to fashion-forward finds from brands like DKNY, Columbia, Bebe, Nautica and Nike Eyewear and more, Walmart offers a broad assortment of trendy eyewear at Everyday Low Prices. Customers can even virtually “try-on” more than 900 eyewear options online and order the perfect pair from the comfort of home.

Prioritizing inclusivity for customers

Walmart is continuing its commitment to creating a more inclusive school shopping experience by rolling out Caroline’s Carts, helping customers with disabilities to navigate the store with a single cart. By January 2025, all Walmart Supercenters and all Neighborhood Markets will receive at least one cart, totaling more than 8,000 carts.
