Fiber Broadband Association Certifies More Network Operators Strategically Committing to Fiber

Twelve more FBA members achieve All Fiber Certification

Today at Fiber Connect 2024, the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) announced an increase in its members’ All Fiber Certification. The accreditation is reserved for FBA members that demonstrate a high-level of strategic commitment to all fiber deployment by ensuring 90% or more of their networks rely on fiber optic infrastructure. Twelve FBA members recently achieved All Fiber Certification in North America since Fiber Connect 2023.

The latest recipients of All Fiber Certification include:

  • Fiberspring (South Hadley, Mass.)
  • HMP&L Fiber (Henderson, Ky.)
  • Myakka Communications, Inc. (Myakka City, Fla.)
  • Nex-Tech (Hays, Kan.)
  • Okanogan County Public Utility District (Okanogan, Wash.)
  • OptiLink (Dalton, Ga.)
  • Point Broadband (West Point, Ga.)
  • Ripple Fiber (Charlotte, N.C.)
  • Sichuun (Schefferville, Quebec)
  • Strada Communications (Port Byron, Ill.)
  • Surf Internet (Elkhart, Ind.)
  • Utilities Board City of Sylacauga (Sylacauga, Ala.)

“Through our research, webinars, panels, and other content, FBA continues to reinforce that fiber is the critical infrastructure required to deliver broadband services for generations to come due to its reliability, performance, longevity, sustainability, and more. Naturally, we’re seeing more network operators choose fiber and we’re thrilled to congratulate those that have achieved at least 90% fiber networks,” said Gary Bolton, President and CEO of the Fiber Broadband Association. “These operators are ensuring their communities have access to reliable, high-performance broadband and the economic, employment, and education opportunities that come with that connection to a fiber network.”
