ST. ADOLPHE, MB: Bulger Brothers Landscape, a residential and commercial landscaping company, has recently completed work on the new municipal office for the Rural Municipality of Ritchot in St. Adolphe, Manitoba.
Working in collaboration with LaFortune Landscape, the team at Bulger Brothers Landscape created a 250-foot-long retaining wall. They also laid 5000 square feet of paving stone, using 91 pallets of Barkman brick pavers.
The retaining wall was constructed to add depth and texture to the project. The curves gently follow the building to complement the old council meeting room and usher in a new era for the RM building. The pavers were laid to improve aesthetics and offer a new space for the community to hold activities, farmers markets and even live concerts on the new lawn area.
Sod was also laid to improve aesthetics and offer a contrast to the brick pavers.
Ben Bulger, one of the owners of Bulger Brothers Landscape, commented on the importance of the project for the community and his team: “The RM of Ritchot was in need of an overhaul to its municipal office; we’re excited to be a part of its growth, and we’ve heard great responses from staff about the work we’ve done,” said Bulger. “Working with the team at LaFortune was a great experience for our team; it’s awesome to work with like-minded, hardworking folks.
