Georgetown Capital Is On A Mission To Uplift The Caribbean’s Financial Literacy

By: Get News
This Content platform Also Aims To Establish A Credible Source Of Investment Education In The Region

Georgetown Capital is on a mission to enhance the Caribbean’s financial literacy and establish a credible source of investment education.

Georgetown Capital was launched in June 2021. The founder, Mr. Alex Armogan, previously designed and developed the University of Guyana’s Energy Think Tank and subsequently was the Director of the University’s Institute for Energy Diplomacy. The experience generated from academia informed the vision of Georgetown Capital.

Mr. Armogan recalls that he was exposed to Bloomberg and Eikon during his final postgraduate qualification at the prestigious Cass Business School, University of London. An internal desire was born to launch a service in the early stage of the Caribbean’s financial market development that could grow and evolve into a similar offering as the region advances.

Georgetown Capital is currently the most-watched business and investing platform in Guyana — the fastest growing economy in the world for 2022. Videos on the country’s stock exchange, real estate market, entrepreneurs, and investment outlook can be found @thegeorgetowncapital on Facebook or at www.thegeorgetowncapital.com. Articles on Private Finance are also available.

A company representative, Matthew Gaul, notes that GC intends to expand its platform to Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados by Q2 2023.
