“A Fragile Flower” Vietnamese Movie to Debut in Theaters in the United States and India in January 2024

The movie “A Fragile Flower”  was showcased at the Asian World Film Festival in Culver City, Calif., highlighted in the global Hollywood Weekly Magazine, and introduced at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, India. The movie was shot entirely in America with a combined cast from Viet Nam and the United States.

The movie is based on the script by Vietnamese singer Nhat Ha, who shared the life story of a famous, beautiful singer, with a unique sadness in her voice. The life of an artist on grand stages and luxurious settings was displayed along dark moments of challenges, lonely tears, and overwhelming worries about the unforeseen future.  The love story between the singer, Maya, and a billionaire, a director, a producer, and a musician was beautifully portrayed by actors Quoc Cuong, Duc Tien, Baggio Saetti, and Anh Dung.  Movie lovers will also enjoy 15 melodious songs in Vietnamese, English, and French lyrics introduced in the movie.

The director and producer of the movie, Mai Thu Huyen, showcased the lifestyle and success of the Vietnamese business community in America to the world and the people back in their homeland. She also held an acting role in the movie alongside the talented Second Unit Director, Tran Buu Loc, from Viet Nam.

This film is a cultural and entrepreneurial project led by first-time Executive Producer, Dr. Jacqueline Nguyen, PharmD. A Board of Advisors was formed to raise funds, optimize the budget, and guide the project in a record shooting time of 30 days. The Board includes Dr. Emily Letran – certified high-performance coach and business strategist, Dr. Jacqueline Nguyen, Alan Vo Ford – movie producer, and Wendy Nguyen, CPA. The professionalism and integrity of the Board gained support nationally. They attracted investors such as Lyllian Nguyen of Project 10B, Oregon, Quynh Real Estate Group and Dr. Yu Ting Wang of Natural Focus Dental, Texas.

The talented cast and crew of this movie include Trizzie Phuong Trinh, Khanh Hoang, Jacky Tai, Tuyet Trang, Mai Thu Trang, Ho Xuan Dao, Nghia Le, Kieu Diem, Jinstar, Nina Rose, Jack BL, Quyet Tran, Thien Son, Tuan Minh, Ngan Hoang, Quoc Cong, Le Thanh, Michael Vu, Kim Ngoc, Nghia Rocky, Kenny Khiem Nguyen, John Le, and James Devore, just to name a few. A beautifully designed wardrobe by Jacky Tai and Quynh Paris and exquisite makeup by Nguyen Duy Jinstar make the film even more memorable.

This is not the first time Dr. Emily Letran is involved in global projects. She speaks internationally in more than 11 countries and hosts her signature event, Action To Win, across five continents. Her mission, to help busy business owners and entrepreneurs increase net profits, decrease stress, and win back time for their families, is evident in what she teaches on stage and shares in 17 book projects, including “From Refugee to Renaissance Woman: Hard Work, Humility, and the American Dream.”
