Author and aviation expert Norman Currey brings a fascinating read bout mankind’s quest to control the skies in his book, “Airplane Stories and Histories,” widely lauded for its chock-full of interesting facts and information for those interested in aviation.
In the book, Currey chronicles the exploits of aviation pioneers, who include Sir George Cayley, the Wright brothers, Charles Lindbergh, Wiley Post, Amelia Earheart, and many others. An aeronautical engineer himself, he talks about the Wright Brothers' invention of the use of ever-advancing planes in warfare.
