Canadian Twin Dancers Ayden and Ethan Valdriz Make Waves on the International Stage

By: Get News
These Canadian twins expand their influence in the dance world with extraordinary talent and dedication.

At just 17 years old, Ayden and Ethan Valdriz have made a remarkable impact in the dance community, not only in their native Canada but also internationally. Known for their seamless coordination and dynamic performances Gangsta Kehlani - Alexander Chung Choreography, the twin dancers have captured attention since they first appeared on NBC's World of Dance and Canada’s Got Talent. With a shared passion for hip-hop, ballroom, and choreography, they have grown their dance company, F.I. Crew, to seven teams — a feat they achieved by the age of 17.

Ayden and Ethan's journey into dance began at a very young age. Ethan, who showed an interest in dancing as a toddler, started formal training in ballroom and hip-hop at just seven years old. Inspired by his brother's dedication, Ayden joined him in hip-hop a year later. Their shared love for performing and impeccable timing helped them excel in competitive duets, which they performed for four to five years.

The twins’ passion for dance intensified when they started to train in Los Angeles at age 10 to join a prestigious training company. This pivotal step allowed them to work with industry professionals and perform in front of global audiences. Their appearance on World of Dance at age 13 and Canada’s Got Talent soon after further solidified their reputation as standout performers.

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ayden and Ethan continued to hone their craft. They began choreographing more extensively, and at 14, they formed their own team, F.I. Crew, after choreographing pieces for a show. Today, F.I. Crew has expanded to seven teams, reflecting their leadership and commitment to fostering growth in the next generation of dancers.

Half Chilean and half Filipino, Ayden and Ethan partly credit their parents for supporting their dance journey. Their maternal grandparents have also played a crucial role in their upbringing, and their cousin, who has traveled with them frequently, remains one of their biggest supporters. Dance has always been a part of their family’s cultural fabric, which continues to inspire their creativity.

The twins’ choreography has been featured in prominent shows like Kaos 2024 and Flip the Switch 2023 and 2024. As they look ahead, Ayden and Ethan remain dedicated to their craft, helping their dancers reach their full potential while continuing to push their own boundaries as artists.

Ayden and Ethan Valdriz's talent has led them to some incredible experiences, one of the most notable being their encounter with Jennifer Lopez during their time on NBC's World of Dance.

The twins had the opportunity to perform in front of the global superstar. Meeting JLo was a defining moment in their careers, further solidifying their drive to continue pushing boundaries in the dance world. Her feedback left a lasting impression on the twins, inspiring them to elevate their performances and artistry to even greater heights.
