Lauren Jauregui, SKG, Shylah Ray, Perform At Amplified Voices: A Day of Resistance, Resilience, and Solidarity

In a world often overshadowed by conflict and division, *Amplified Voices* stood as a testament to the power of community, culture, and collective action. This unique event, held to raise funds and awareness for Palestine, brought together musicians, artists, activists, and community members from around the globe. Their mission: to celebrate resistance, amplify voices of those fighting against injustice, and promote solidarity in the face of ongoing genocide and colonization.

A Celebration of Resistance and Resilience

Held on a day dedicated to both honoring the enduring strength of those resisting oppression and raising funds for families in Palestine, *Amplified Voices* offered a platform for those seeking to make a tangible difference.

The event was a powerful reminder that resistance takes many forms—whether through art, music, or grassroots organizing. The funds raised from ticket sales were directed to assist families in Palestine, offering tangible support to those who continue to endure the hardships of occupation and violence.

Music, Art, and Culture: A Celebration of Resistance

*Lauren Jauregui, former member of Fifth Harmony and a passionate activist, took to the stage to deliver a heartfelt performance. Known for using her platform to speak out on issues of social justice, Jauregui’s voice resonated with a call for unity and liberation. Alongside her, **SKG (Helecia Choyce)*, a powerful rapper and artist, brought her electrifying energy to the stage, using her art to address themes of resistance, survival, and solidarity.

*Shylah Ray’s performance added to the evening’s profound atmosphere, blending soulful melodies with an urgent message of activism and peace. Other performances included contributions from **QUIN, **Low Leaf, and **Aztlan Underground, whose music provided both inspiration and a call to action for attendees. **Martha Gonzalez of Quetzal* and *Elijah Badua* also shared their unique musical and poetic voices, contributing to the day’s rich tapestry of culture and resistance.

Beyond the performances, *Amplified Voices* provided a platform for *community organizers* and *activists* to speak directly to the audience. One of the key moments was a moving speech from *Butch Aware*, whose words encouraged everyone to engage in the fight for peace and justice.
