Author Mac R. Cabanilla Makes a Splash in The Global Scene With His Sensitive Exploration of The Meaning of Existence in "Notunol: A Study of Christism"

"Notunol" is a well-written book that provides explanations of understanding faith, religion, and philosophy. It looks at the concept of Notunoll, the nature of the universe and the nature of life, and how it fits into the bigger picture of faith and belief.

Philippine-born Hawaii author Mac R. Cabanilla makes headway in the global book industry as he pens his debut book, "Notunol: A Study of Christism," a meaningful collection of thoughts regarding the essence of existence.

In an interview, Cabanilla says A Study of Christism is a book that he feels he had been predestined to write. In the book, he talks about the preservation of all living organisms, which he says entirely depends on the faithful observance of the structure of morality inherently provided by the Creator or God. Cabanilla created his concept of "Christism," which is a unified concept that ties together mankind, the Holy Spirit, and the nature of the universe.

In his discussion about Christism and Notunol (the Nature of Life), Cabanilla provides a mix of universal truth and faith as a combination of physical reality and immaterial forces, or faith in the spiritual realm of God. Cabanilla clearly states: "Existence is not by assumption only. It requires the argument of faith for the existence of immaterial force or God the creator so that the greatest human dilemma could have a solution and hope because the absolute truth is with God the father."

Primer, one of the readers, described Cabanilla's debut novel as "nothing short of profound" as it delves into the universal question of why people are who they are.

"I believe that Cabanilla's writing is the complete opposite of what existentialists believe. This novel painstakingly discusses the basic principles that determine how people partake in worshipping a superior being, God, and how they strive to find a deeper meaning in their own existence. The book brings out individuals' perceptions, their noticing of, and quite often partaking in the beauties of all that surrounds us," wrote Primer.

Phil B., meanwhile, called "Notunol: perhaps "the missing piece of faith." He lauded Cabanilla for taking readers on an extensive look into what it means to be religious, the key themes or ideas behind religions and religious beliefs, and finally looked at Notunol (the nature of the universe and the nature of life).

"All major religions expect followers to believe that there is an afterlife and a path or set of expectations that must be followed in order to reach that afterlife and the deity that holds power there. But what if there was more to it than that? What if there was an understanding with all that surrounds us that must be met for us t even have a slight understanding of what comes next? That is where Notunol comes in," wrote Phil.

A native of the Philippines, Cabanilla now makes his home in Honolulu, Hawaii, which is also home to a significant number of Filipinos. There, Cabanilla serves as a landscape gardener and a member of The Professional Grounds Management Society. Apart from enjoying listening to music and reading, Cabanilla has a deep love and appreciation for nature.

"Notunol: A Study of Christism" is available on Amazon and other digital platforms worldwide, including Barnes & Noble and Book Depository.
