First Passport Bros Related Novel Hits Book Stores

As the Passport Bros movement gains both negative and positive attention, E.J. Wade wanted to be the first and best author to write a novel about it. In what is sure to get mixed reviews, Passport Inc. A Dark Comedy about American Dating is on its way to Amazon and Audible. The well-trained storyteller has been an author for 9 years but has spent the last 5 years focused on history books. While they will more than likely get hundreds of travel guides from men abroad, it is a change of pace to be able to get a well written story, that touches every reader and stirs emotion.

While the novel does not glorify the movement, it does encourage men to get their passports and travel more. In the second Act, E.J. Wade writes about “Western Eyes”, or the way some have been conditioned to see everything in the west. The opening of the novel has a character who insist on shoving his camera in young women’s faces on Walking Street, in Angeles City, Philippines. On page 1, the guy is chopped in the throat by a member of the Korean Mob. A reminder, from the start that this book is not a “Rom Com”, but dark satire.

The lesson the author wants readers to learn is the grass is not always greener on the other side, but it could be.

Vacations are supposed to be fun, but now men must be more careful because everyone who travels could be labeled as a “Passport Bro”, regardless of affiliation and a few men have lost their lives in Colombia due to being drugged.

The novel leaves the reader with a grand pay off, but the book has already earned a sequel. Passport Inc. 2, untitled, which will be even funnier and darker, as E.J. Wade paints a full picture.

“Men have been finding love abroad for years, it really didn’t become a source of controversy and anger until black American men started doing it. Though, this book has characters of all races or backgrounds”, says E.J.

The author even includes himself as a character and makes fun of himself. Someone who is normally viewed by strangers as too serious. The author admits he did not try to become Katt Williams to write this story. He kept his own dark and witty style.

“It would be a slap in the face, to have never gotten on stage and then to try to do what Dave Chapelle or Katt Wiliams does. Instead, I focused on my strengths. I became a much stronger writer after taking classes and writing Then the Earth Swallowed them Whole: The Secret of Circular 3591. But this book feels like my first.”
