Hall says an additional benefit AI tools can offer is their ability to spot internal problems like low engagement, high turnover, and employees likely to quit, enabling CHROs to take steps to retain their employees and initiate necessary internal improvements.

Hall concludes that by leveraging AI tools, small businesses can improve the quality of their hires, increase operational efficiencies, and make more informed HR decisions. He cautions, however, that AI is best used in support of HR functions, enhancing their abilities and improving decision-making.
