Curious about the best glasses for serving each type of cocktail?
This Guide to Cocktail Glasses explains. Feeling a bit more creative? Consider serving drinks in bird-shaped glasses or in deer-shaped cocktail stands. They add personality to your presentation and they’re sure to spark conversations.
Mocktails and Hydration Stations
Ensure all guests feel included by offering the option of non-alcoholic beverages at your event. Here’s one of our favorite ginger-forward mocktails, perfect for the holiday season.
Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail
Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. simple syrup (see recipe below)
- 2 oz. 100% cranberry juice
- 4 oz. Ginger Kombucha
- 2 oz. club soda (or sparkling or mineral water)
- 2 sprigs of rosemary, plus extra for garnish
- 2 Tbsp Spice World Squeezable Minced Ginger
- Fresh cranberries for garnish
Instructions
For the simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine ¼ cup sugar and ¼ cup water. Bring the mixture to a boil until the sugar has dissolved. Pour into a glass container and let cool. This will make about ½ cup simple syrup for future use.
Mixing the Mocktail
-
- Place premade simple syrup plus rosemary and Spice World Squeezable Minced Ginger in a measuring cup and muddle with a fork or other utensil to release the flavors of the rosemary and ginger into the simple syrup.
- Add the cranberry juice, kombucha, and sparkling water to your measuring cup.
- Stir and pour over a high ball glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with extra rosemary and fresh cranberries.
Ginger Hibiscus Agua Fresca
Floral and fruity, this rose-colored Aqua Fresca is infused with the flavor of Spice World Squeezable Minced Ginger, and it’s a refreshing beverage for holiday brunches and evening events alike. The tea steeps for 8 hours, so start this the night before your event.
Hydration Station
At a cocktail party (or any party, really) it’s easy to forget to hydrate. Consider making a few pitchers of Cranberry/Rosemary/Orange-infused water. Prepare and chill this infused water a few hours before serving so flavors can develop.
