Recognized as trusted authorities, four attorneys from the Freed Marcroft Divorce & Family Law team will share valuable insights with peers statewide through NBI’s esteemed continuing legal education program.
Hartford, Connecticut, December 8, 2024 — Freed Marcroft Divorce & Family Law is proud to announce that four of their elite attorneys were invited to present a continuing legal education course by the National Business Institute, which is accredited by the American Bar Association.
Attorney Maryam Afif, Partner Michael Jack Paris, Managing Partner Brandy Thomas, and Co-Managing and Founding Attorney Meghan Freed will take part in presenting the “Connecticut Family Law From A to Z” CLE to fellow Connecticut family attorneys and paralegals, in an effort to offer topical insights regarding critical family law subject matter.
While there are many CLEs offered by various continuing education programs, NBI is one that has a particularly well-known reputation for both the quality they put forth and the audience size they typically reach. Per their website, their overall mission is to “…empower lawyers and support staff with the practical legal knowledge and skills they need to succeed.” Moreover, they describe the leaders of their courses as “expert faculty” who are well respected in both academia and the court system.
CLE credits are necessary for both lawyers and support staff in Connecticut to remain in good standing with the Connecticut Bar. While they have traditionally been held in-person, with every course participant being required to travel to the destination a course is being offered, “Connecticut Family Law From A to Z” will be offered live online as well as OnDemand, making it easier and more convenient for individuals to share in the wisdom that Freed Marcroft’s premier attorneys have to offer.
A spokesperson for the firm states, “We are honored to be invited by the National Business Institute to present this CLE program. It’s a privilege to share our knowledge and insights with fellow Connecticut family law professionals. At Freed Marcroft, we are passionate about advancing the practice of family law and empowering our peers to provide the highest level of service to their clients. This opportunity is a testament to our commitment to excellence in both the courtroom and the legal community.”
The CLE will take place on Thursday, December 5, and will cover such topics as marriage dissolution, child custody and visitation rights, consent orders and agreements, and more. To discover more about this course or register to be a participant, visit the website directly here.
