Finisar Corp. (Nasdaq: FNSR) received a $390 million investment from Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) to increase production of laser diodes that are used in the iPhone X for Face ID, Animoji and portrait mode selfies. Shares of Finisar leaped $4.40 to close at $23.70 while Apple stock edged up 57 cents to close at $172.27.
