Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 3rd Annual Into the Wild Art Exhibition

Palm Springs, CA, USA – April 20, 2021 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 3rd Annual Into the Wild International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting wildlife. The wildlife theme included any undomesticated animal species including any wild mammal, wild fish, wild bird or wild reptile. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The Into the Wild Best in Show winners are Nathan Miller for his acrylic, “Legend of the Jaguar Shaman”, Shawna Hinkel for her photograph, “The Mad Drag Queen” and Peter Thomas for his bronze, “Wisdom Walker”. As the Best in Show winners, Nathan, Shawna and Peter are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2022.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Esther van Hulsen, Ilona Abou-Zolof and Douglas Aja. Third Place awards were given to Sidong Zhao, Barbara Mierau-Klein and Wenbin Yao. Fourth Place awards were given to Durwood Coffey, Elizabeth Kayl and Oleg Kedria. Fifth Place awards were given to Barney Levitt, Marcello Galleano and K R Nariman.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are twelve Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Maria Arias, Jill Corless, Cher Pruys, Christine O’Dell-Ferguson, Patsy Lindamood and Victoria Martin.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Richard Condlyffe, Garret Demarest, John H Diephouse, Merrilee Soberg, Lynne Deutch and Paul M. Murray.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Japan, Belgium, Greece, Mexico, the Republic of Moldova and Spain. Overall, the gallery judged 402 entries and accepted 143 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for 3 months starting on April 15, 2021.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of online press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
