AKCP Announces Hardware Update for sensorProbe+ Series

By: PRLog

AKCP, the world's oldest and largest supplier of networked wired and wireless sensor solutions has announced a hardware update for their popular sensorProbe+ series of base units.

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Dec. 21, 2021 - PRLog -- The AKCP sensorProbe+ (SP+) series, consisting of the SP2+ and SPX+ have rapidly become an industry standard for data center and server room monitoring. AKCP continues to invest in upgrades to both the hardware and software of the SP+.

The latest update has resulted in increased RAM, flash and a faster CPU. This increased memory and storage means AKCP has been able to pack in more software features, with space left for future improvements via firmware upgrades. While software development will focus on the newer platform, older platforms will continue being supported through bug and security updates.

Features available on the latest hardware include new protocols for authentication and communication :-

  • Radius
  • Tacacs
  • MQTT with message queuing in RAM
  • MQTTS (encrypted MQTT)
For existing sensorProbe, sensorProbe2+ and sensorProbeX+ customers a 50% discount is offered from AKCP on upgrades to the new hardware platform.

AKCP wired and Wireless Tunnel monitoring system is available now. Contact sales@akcp.com for more details.

AKCP established in the USA in 1981, has 30+ years experience in professional sensor solutions. AKCP created the market for networked temperature, environmental and power monitoring in the data center.
