CRT K9 and The Heroic Tail Saving San Diego Dogs!

By: PRLog

San Diego has too many dogs without homes in need of training. Katie Lekas of CRT K9 is taking the responsibility on her self by starting The Heroic Tail a non-profit dog shelter. With her Canine Rehabilitation Training she is able to train dogs deemed unadoptable.

SAN DIEGO - Sept. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- Celebrating CRT K9 and The Heroic Tail

Today, we are celebrating the incredible work done by The Heroic Tail Dog Rescue in partnership with top-rated San Diego dog trainers at CRT K9 (Canine Rehabilitation Training). Together they have been able to rescue countless dogs from high-kill shelters, or dogs deemed unadoptable.

Katie Lekas is the dedicated, amazing woman behind both CRT K9 and the founding of The Heroic Tail. Her dog training business and rescue follow the same premise. Help and train dogs who may not otherwise receive support to give them a better life. Her team works to train not only dogs but their owners to create respectful and balanced relationships which leads to happier, healthier lives.

Katie has been training dogs all of her life and now has shifted to canine behavioral rehabilitation work as an adult. She has developed a passion for dogs which is so apparent in her work. CRT K9 trains all of the dogs The Heroic Tail rescues so they can work through their traumas, and come out healthy and ready for their new homes! So many dogs are left unwanted and sent to high kill rate shelters. The Heroic Tail gives those pups a second chance with a top-rated canine specialist to work through their traumas.

The Heroic Tail is a non-profit organization that operates from the generous donations and support from the San Diego community they serve! If you wish to learn more or support them check out their website here!

San Diego Dog Problem

San Diego is a sparse metropolitan area, and with that comes issues, according to SNAP there were 45,000 pets that entered shelters in San Diego county last year alone, which is more than the shelters alone can handle.

This is why it is vital that small rescues such as The Heroic Tail are helping to make a difference. Dogs and animals deserve better. Support local San Diego shelters and rescues.
