LOS ANGELES, USA, SEPTEMBER 16, 2022 — FitR, a Web3 fitness metaverse app with rich gamification and unique socialization features, is thrilled to announce the launch of its XPal airdrop.
Using AI technology, FitR provides a full range of indoor and outdoor exercises for its users through its mobile app, currently available on iOS and Android app stores. FitR aims to allow its users to play cooperatively or competitively with friends and family, while earning rewards.
FitR uses AI to detect body movements of its players. This detection allows FitR to count the player movements to generate a score for the workout. The AI used by FitR does not collect personally identifiable information from its players, nor does it record a user’s biometrics. In addition, FitR does not save videos, audio, or pictures of player workouts and the workouts are not recorded.
The XPal airdrop will take place on September 16, 2022, from 6:30am to 11:30am (UTC). Users who currently hold a JRope NFT in their wallet, as well as any user who has transferred a GBag NFT into the FitR app, will be eligible to be airdropped an XPal NFT.
Users who hold an XPal NFT in their FitR account will be able to earn rewards while exercising through the FitR app. Currently, XPals allow users to earn while jumping rope, the first exercise available in FitR, and will apply to all future exercise programs, for both children and adults, that will be added, with boxing slated as the next available exercise program.
In addition to the bonuses that XPal NFTs provide, players can use two eligible XPal NFTs to mint a new XPal Mystery Box. The two NFTs selected need to be in a non-sale state, have minting availability, and have full durability (100). Users can purchase an XPal NFT through FitR Market, the app’s in-game marketplace. The app’s in-game reward token, $FXT, has an unlimited supply and is earned when a user moves in Exercise Mode. $FXT is currently listed on PancakeSwap. Within FitR, $FXT can be used to repair and level up NFTs as well as mint new NFTs, providing more bonuses when a user exercises. Social gameplay features will also be added to FitR in the near future, including team challenges, where two players can combine their scores to receive additional bonus token rewards, competition battles, through which a player can invite one friend or randomly match with an online player for a 1-minute competition challenge, and exercise master, allowing players to earn extra token rewards through live challenges.
FitR closed its seed round of financing in July 2022, with investment from Avatar Ventures, KuCoin Ventures, and HashKey Capital.
