Introducing OYA Bag— The Diaper Bag Designed For Dads

Live on Indiegogo, Ravaa has designed a diaper bag with the functionality dads need and the design dads want.

Washington, D.C. - February 1, 2023 /MarketersMEDIA/

The OYA Bag, the stylish and functional diaper bag designed specifically for dads, is live on global crowdfunding platform Indiegogo and raising funds to bring the project to life.

In today’s world, where fathers are taking on increasingly active roles at home, it can be almost impossible to find parenting gear that isn’t overly feminine and tailored towards moms. Ravaa, the company behind the OYA Bag, has created a brand that caters to fathers— helping to serve and empower them to be the best dads they can be.

"When I became a new dad, I was struck by the lack of childcare products designed specifically for men. I expected there to be a wealth of options of stylish, modern accessories for dads to use while caring for their kids on-the-go. Instead, I found there was very little on offer,” says co-founder Mike Kemp on the inspiration on the project. “Joe, my co-founder, and I had been colleagues, and we connected over our shared experiences of being dads. He had experienced the same lack of options that I had, so together we set out to change all that.”

The OYA Bag is a sleek and ultra-functional diaper bag designed from the ground up specifically for dads. A waterproof black exterior with complementary red accents with no protruding pockets gives the bag a simple and clean look. The OYA Bag includes carabiner-based straps for ultimate flexibility, adjustable shoulder straps, and a dual adjustment chest strap for a perfect and comfortable fit. It has also been designed to be a portable changing station— a quick and easy fold-out changing pad drops from the back of the bag, while the bag itself stays upright; allowing for fast access to a built-in wipes pocket and diaper storage. The pad itself is easily detachable and washable for easy cleanup. Other key features include a quick access, temperature-insulated compartment and multiple storage pockets strategically placed throughout the bag to help contain the chaos. The OYA is a diaper bag that not only looks stylish, but is also packed with the features and functionality for dads on-the-go.

“We’re not the only ones who have noticed the need for childcare products that men are comfortable wearing. There are many gender-neutral diaper bags on the market lately, and a couple brands focused on a more rugged approach to baby gear as well,” adds co-founder Joe Hwalek. “But at Ravaa, our goal is to design products that are sleek, stylish and designed specifically for dads. Our products look great and maximize the functionality that dads need to take care of their kids no matter the situation.”
