The African Web3 start-up, Cassava Network recently launched Cassava V4 with more features and options for users to complete tasks and earn rewards.

By: Get News

April 13th, 2023 - Cassava Network today announced the launch of Cassava V4 with more exciting features. This version came packed with many exciting features, such as the much-anticipated referral system, an on-chain achievement token (OAT) rewards system, a Telegram integration and a feature that allows brands to save tasks as drafts pending when they want them published.

In this version of its product, Cassava Network made updates and integrated many interesting features that make it easy for brands to create tasks by offering them the flexibility of saving tasks as drafts. Users also have more options to earn rewards in both CB Coins and the newly introduced OATs.

“We have made some major updates to our rewards system in Cassava V4”, Said Mouloukou Sanoh, Co-founder of Cassava Network. “With our eyes still set on the bigger picture, which is a blockchain-empowered Africa, we have integrated some exciting features into our V4, while considering some of the feedback we got from brands that use our platform.”

Features of Cassava V4

The new features integrated into Cassava V4 are:

Double Rewards Referral System: In Cassava V4, Cassava Network has integrated a referral system that rewards both the inviter and the invitee. To encourage referrals, they are giving 20 CB Coins to users who refer their friends to Cassava. Since the Cassava referral system is a double rewards system, users also receive 40 CB Coins when they sign up on Cassava using their friend’s referral link.

On-chain Achievement Tokens (OATs) Rewards System: Brands can now reward users with OATs when they complete their tasks. These OATs are stored in users’ Cassava wallets and can be used to access different perks in the Cassava ecosystem. For instance, a brand that wants to reward Cassava users with their tokens may restrict the claiming of these rewards to users who own a particular OAT.  This way, only users who completed a particular task and earned the OAT can claim the token rewards. At the moment, the OATs reward system is only available on the Polygon blockchain, but Cassava Network has promised to integrate other blockchains in the following updates.

Telegram Integration: Cassava Network integrated a Telegram verification and task feature into Cassava V4. Users can now verify their Telegram account to earn CB Coins. Brands can also use the Telegram task option to grow and drive engagement to their Telegram group and channel.

Save Tasks As Drafts: In this version, Cassava gives brands more flexibility over their tasks by allowing them to save tasks as drafts instead of publishing them immediately. This way, a brand can set up a task and save it pending when the task is due to go live. Cassava believes that this feature which it termed exciting, will simplify and ease the campaign set-up process for brands.
