bebe stores, inc. Announces November 2005 Sales;
Sales Increase 13.2%;
Same Store Sales Increase 4.2%

BRISBANE, CALIF. – December 1, 2005 – bebe stores, inc. (Nasdaq: BEBE) today reported retail sales of $46.3 million for the four-week period ended November 26, 2005, an increase of 13.2% compared to sales of $40.9 million for the four-week period ended November 27, 2004.

Same store sales for the four-week period ended November 26, 2005 increased 4.2% compared to an increase of 23.2% for November 2004.

Retail sales for the year-to-date period ending November 26, 2005 were $210.5 million compared to $178.7 million for the year-to-date period ending November 27, 2004, an increase of 17.8%. Same store sales for the year-to-date period ending November 26, 2005 increased 11.2% compared to an increase of 18.0% for the year-to-date period ending November 27, 2004.

As of November 26, 2005, finished goods inventory per square foot was approximately 5% higher as compared to the prior year.
