Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On December 21, 2005, the Board of Directors announced that effective January 1, 2006, Dan West will be appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Plumas Bancorp. Most recently he was Vice-Chariman of the Board of Directors. Jerry Kehr, West's predecessor, will officially step down as Chairman on December 31, 2005. Kehr will continue his invlovement with the Company as a member of the Board of Directors.
