Filing of Monthly Operating Report for the Month Ended February 28, 2009 with the United States Trustee

On March 16, 2009, Fremont General Corporation (the “Company”) filed its monthly operating report for the month ended February 28, 2009 (the “February Monthly Operating Report”), with the United States Trustee for the Central District of California, Santa Ana Division (the “United States Trustee”).

The February Monthly Operating Report is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
