Mooditude partners with MTV ENTERTAINMENT GROUP on the inaugural ‘Mental Health Action Day’Mooditude, MTV ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, and over 800 organizations are joining forces to challenge everyone to take action on treating their mental health on May 20th.

Mooditude announces its partnership with MTV ENTERTAINMENT GROUP and over 800 organizations including nonprofits, prominent brands, cultural influencers, and government agencies to create the first ever Mental Health Action Day (MHAD) on May 20, 2021.

The pandemic has strained our already insufficient system of mental health care. Depression symptoms have increased fourfold since the pandemic began and anxiety symptoms have tripled. This year, awareness alone is not enough. We need to take action before mental health becomes a crisis.

Mooditude and its partnerships for Mental Health Action Day allow them to reach a broader audience together and provide cultural acceptance for the treatment of mental health. These organizations represent a significant effort to move past the awareness stage and focus the conversation on taking action. On Action Day, Mooditude and its partners pledge to give their audiences an action to take to treat their mental health.

“I believe that partnerships have immense power to bring together separate organizations for a common cause so that they can benefit from shared expertise, resources, and collective voices. Let’s not forget that one great collaboration with the right organization can have an incredible impact. So don’t stop reaching out because opportunities increase when we invite others to join in,” explains Ferial Moloo, Senior Executive of Partnerships and Growth at Mooditude.

For the month of May, leading up to this day, Mooditude has planned awareness campaigns in collaboration with voices from Mental Health America (MHA), the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), and prominent mental health influencers with a reach of over 1 million. These activities will culminate on Mental Health Action Day where Mooditude’s mission and action for this day will be to become aware of your own mental health. For this, they are promoting their in-app, multi-symptom mental health assessment so users can easily get their mental wellbeing score.

Mooditude is a mental health app that provides care in moments of crisis, through artificial intelligence that tracks moods and delivers the right coping strategy for the moment. It uses technology to monitor progress, discover negative thought patterns, and communicate these insights to members’ providers.
