North Texas Couple Create Solar-Powered 3D-Printing Lab Specializing in Customized Lithophane Night Lights (Lit Pics)

GetYourLitPic.com is the name of the direct link that anyone can use to access the power of the solar -powered 3D-Printing Lab. The small company in north Texas sells these cool lithophane night lights that they call “Lit Pics”. Customers simply upload their picture and get their special moment etched into hard plastic in a process that takes between 5 and 7 hours, depending on the detail of the photo. Marcus and Shauanna are proud of their lab which has produced “lit pics” for all types of images.

Graduation photos, sonograms, military pics, weddings, obituaries and pets are just a few of the pictures that they have printed. Even celebrities have found joy in the night displays that show your photo magically when the push light is activated.

Marcus, who is an electronics technician in the United States Air Force personally built the 4500 Watts of solar generators that are charged daily using solar panels. The generators were made by purchasing parts locally from retailers like Home Depot and Harbor Freight stores.

The two hope that the sales of “Lit Pics” will force them to grow to a larger manufacturing facility that can eventually bring marketing and maintenance jobs to the local area.
