Caldera Law Doubles Its Headcount

Boutique Miami Law Firm Adds Complementary Practice Areas to Meet Client Demand

Caldera Law has welcomed six new attorneys to the team, doubling in headcount as the boutique firm continues to expand its footprint. The firm has also added Technology & Innovation and Sports & Entertainment practice areas on the heels of expanding client opportunities.

“We're thrilled about our ability to attract talented attorneys at the top of their game, leveraging their specific industry expertise in ways that bolster and complement our existing offering,” said Founder and Managing Partner Ben Wolkov. “As a full-service boutique law firm, it’s all about getting the mix right – channeling the breadth of our offering across corporate, litigation, IP, and real estate towards clients operating in specific high-growth industries including innovation, hospitality, and sports and entertainment.”

The firm has brought on three new Partners – Anthony Narula, Janet Moreira, and Karina DuQuesne – as well as the attorneys Rachel Streitfeld, Rasheem Johnson, and J.J. Ogilby to meet increased client demand. Additionally, Lindsey Mandler has been elevated to Partner to support growth in the firm’s Real Estate practice.

Anthony Narula joined as Partner to lead the firm’s Litigation practice, bringing his wealth of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex cases involving prominent entities including Carnival Cruise Lines, Samsung, The Standard Hotels, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and JPMorgan Chase as well as successful start-ups, local artists, chefs, and restaurants.

Also coming on board as Partner was Janet Moreira, a distinguished intellectual property attorney with more than two decades of expertise advising clients on trademarks, domain names, and copyright matters. Moreira’s deep experience has established Caldera Law as a vetted law firm provider in Amazon's IP Accelerator program.

Karina DuQuesne joined as a Partner, broadening the firm’s services to high-growth and early-stage companies and their investors. A seasoned attorney and executive at the intersection of business, law, and technology, she is also the founder and managing principal of Valia Partners, an AI-powered advisory firm servicing high-growth companies and startups.

The firm also hired zoning and public policy expert Rachel Streitfeld, expanding the firm’s Real Estate practice with her extensive knowledge of local ordinances, county requirements, and statewide regulatory frameworks. Rasheem Johnson joined the firm’s commercial litigation team, with experience representing high-net-worth clients in contract, trademark, franchise, and creditor rights disputes. And J.J. Ogilby, an attorney with significant Big Law experience, joined the team, with a focus on corporate and transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and general corporate governance and commercial contract matters.

Caldera Law is located in the emerging Little River neighborhood of Miami, which has been reinvigorated by new arts organizations, restaurants, small businesses, and other entrepreneurial activity. The firm is deeply committed to the community and represents several businesses and key stakeholders in the neighborhood.
