Canadian Walk-In Bathtub Manufacturer Appears On Local News To Promote Safer Living With Accessible Bathtubs And Showers

HAMILTON, ONTARIO: Safe Bathing Canada, a Canadian installer of walk-in bathtubs and accessible showers, has appeared on local news station CHCH News to promote its line of bathtubs and showers, as well as its new showroom in Hamilton.

In an interview with Emily Vukovic of CHCH News, Colin Gates, the owner of Safe Bathing Canada, showcased some of the many models of bathtubs and showers the company offers. The focus of the interview was on how the various features of the bathtubs and showers enhance accessibility, safety, and comfort.

Some of the features that were highlighted include the locks that keep water from leaking out of the side of the tub, the speed with which the tubs drain and fill, and comfort features like heated seats and chromotherapy. Several different models were highlighted, showcasing how the models can fit into both large and smaller spaces.

During the interview, Emily and Colin also discussed how the bathtubs and showers can improve the lives of the people who use them. The advantages of staying in one’s own home while aging were highlighted, including longer lives and improved mental health. They also discussed the independence that comes with being able to get in and out of one’s own shower or bathtub without assistance.

Colin Gates, the owner of Safe Bathing Canada, said the purpose of these interviews and recent commercials is to increase awareness of the options that people have when it comes to living at home with mobility issues. “Living at home can drastically improve physical, mental, and social health,” said Mr. Gates. “People deserve to know that they have options when it comes to bathing and showering. Slip-and-fall accidents are extremely dangerous and they mostly happen in the bathroom. By increasing awareness of walk-in bathtubs and accessible showers, we hope to protect the health and independence of Canadians.”

Headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario, Safe Bathing Canada installs accessible bathtubs and showers throughout Ontario. It currently offers 5 different models of walk-in bathtubs as well as accessible showers.
