Nathaniel Stroman, stage name Comedian Earthquake.

After the excitement surrounding Earthquake's "Legendary" Netflix special in 2022, things are even better. Comedy Earthquake's career is taking off thanks to his New York Times nomination for "funniest comedy special of the year." He is now present in radio, television, and even movies.

At the peak of his popularity as an urban comic on television in the 1990s, Earthquake won over the hearts of his devoted fan base. Fan favorites included episodes of BET's Comic View, HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Shaq's All-Star Comedy Jam, and tidbits of Laffapalooza. Earthquake was the most notable comic of that era thanks to his DVD library of comedy specials. Among these specials are Walter Latham Presents, About Got Damn Time, and From the Outhouse to the Whitehouse and These Ain't Jokes for Showtime. As a result, his presence on the comedy circuit added a relatable and celebrated point of view that resonated with thousands of fans, and he found his sweet spot-on numerous tours and club dates. Never leaving a fan disappointed, 'Quake' (as he is affectionately known), quickly became a closer or multi-headliner fixture on some of the biggest tours in the country.

Quake's career eventually took off, and after making several significant appearances on the highly sought-after late-night talk show circuit, he gained widespread recognition in the media. The Real, The View, Sister Circle, Late Night with George Lopez on TBS, Comedy Central's Chelsea Handler, and Howard Stern On Demand are just a few of the shows he has previously been on. In addition, he has made appearances on The ReidOut on MSNBC, Toure Show, Kevin Hart's Comedy Gold Minds, HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, Tiffany Haddish's Friday Night Vibes on TBS, Roland Martin Unfiltered, and briefly with the well-known ensemble Fox Soul.

He has also appeared in 'Everybody Hates Chris'. After that, he took pleasure in a number of one-off shows and more regular roles, such as "In the Cut" on the Bounce Network, "Rel" on Fox Television, "South Side" on HBO Max, and most recently, "The Neighborhood" on CBS, which starred Cedric the Entertainer. Currently, he's enjoying a second season of the breakout hit series "Johnson" on the Bounce network, which had received over five million views per episode in its first season.
