Believe it or not, a lot of organizations aren’t at that maturity level, but I would have expected Twitter to have been at that point in their security program to be listening to their chief information security officer, who’s raising risks to them, and then taking action and supporting from the top down how to actually address the deficiencies and gaps that he’s highlighting. . . . We definitely need to have a level of regulation that is both enforceable and taken seriously by the organizations that it’s put on; the government also actually needs to be able to enforce it.”
