Elaine Damschen selected for IAOTP's Lifetime Achievement Award

Elaine Damschen, Vice President of Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, was recently chosen to receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in and of itself, only a few select members are chosen for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. These special honorees are selected to receive this award based on their longevity in their fields, their contributions to society, and their impact on their industries. Having over two decades of professional experience as a successful entrepreneur, Elaine is being recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Awardee. Elaine has certainly established herself as an exceptional professional and specialist in various sectors. She is an energetic, results-oriented leader who has excelled in every position she has held.

Having a phenomenal impact in her fields of expertise, Elaine served as the President of Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing in Spokane Valley, Washington. Recently, The Riverside Company, a global private investor specializing in the lower middle market, has invested in Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. They are excited to work with Elaine and her husband Todd, Mainstream's management team, and the skilled technicians who have delivered first-rate services since 2000. 

Her prime areas of experience include, but are not limited to, Sales, Management, Team Building, Marketing, Education, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Public Speaking, and Customer Service. Thanks to Elaine's leadership, Mainstream has had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2003.

Before embarking on her current career path, Elaine attended Boise State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching in 1992. She returned to Boise to finish her studies, earning a Master's degree in Business Administration in 2011. 

Throughout her illustrious career, Elaine has earned accolades and recognition as an active community member for her exceptional leadership and dedication to the Home Services Industries. In 2022, she received the Empowered Woman of the Year award and was selected to be featured in the International Association of Top Professionals' 2nd Edition of the Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication (IAOTP). In addition, she graced the cover of TIP Magazine (Top Industry Professionals). Elaine was named IAOTP's Top Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021 and was featured on the famous Reuters billboard in Times Square. Also for 2021, she was named Woman of the Year by Idaho Business Review.

Elaine has received several honors for her Humanitarianism and was named a Who's Who Top Executive in previous years. She has also been selected Woman of the Year by the Spokesman-Review and recognized as a Woman in Business Leadership in Spokane Coeur D'Alene Magazine. Mainstream was designated the fastest-growing privately owned company in the United States by Inc. Magazine for three years: No. 3680 in 2019, No. 3937 in 2018, and No. 3434 in 2021.

Elaine has committed her time and expertise in business to assist others in addition to her successful profession. Her extensive list of affiliations and accomplishments include her previous work as a Board Member and Bookkeeper for Kids Helping Kids Fix Broken Hearts, which she held from 2010 to 2018. Elaine has been a Nexstar Network member from 2016-2021. She is a member of the Better Business Bureau of the Northwest and Pacific, where she has served on the Board of Directors since 2014. Elaine is a supporter of Explorethetrades.org and Projectathena.org, and she has sponsored several parades and activities during her commercial career.

Looking back, Elaine attributes her success to her tenacity, respect, and knowledge of her job while working alongside her husband and her ability to remain engaged in all her business relationships. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling when she is not working. In the future, she intends to expand her business throughout the Northwest.
